Wildly Intentional Podcast…
Bold talk. Big breakthroughs. No apologies. If you’re a business owner who knows you’re meant for more — more growth, more impact, more alignment — you’re in the right place.
What’s it about?
Wildly Intentional is where honest conversations meet real-life business experiences. Hosted by Verity Curryer and me, this podcast is for established business owners who are ready to think bigger, make braver decisions and build a business that actually supports the life they want.
No fluff. No sugar-coating. Just real conversations about what it actually takes to grow.
What you can expect
This isn’t a “highlight reel” kind of podcast.
We talk about the real stuff — the challenges, the wobbles, the pivots, and the moments where things don’t quite go to plan… as well as the breakthroughs that come from pushing through them.
Across the episodes, you’ll hear us dive into things like:
- Being bold with your marketing (even when it feels uncomfortable)
- Charging what you’re worth — and not shrinking about it
- Navigating the hard seasons in business
- Boundaries, burnout and being online 24/7
- Evolving your business as you grow
- ADHD and entrepreneurship
- Keeping things simple when everything feels complicated
Alongside plenty of real-life experiences, lessons learned (sometimes the hard way), and the kind of conversations you don’t always hear online.
Who it’s for
This podcast is for you if:
- You’re an established business owner in a growth phase
- You’re ambitious, but want to do things your way
- You’re ready to show up more boldly and unapologetically
- You’re tired of surface-level advice and want real insight
- You want to feel seen, understood and challenged in the best way
If you’ve ever felt like you’re figuring things out as you go — you’re not alone. And you’ll feel right at home here.
Why listen?
Because sometimes you don’t need another strategy…
You need a shift in perspective.
You need to hear that:
- You’re not the only one finding it hard
- You’re allowed to change your mind
- You can build your business in a way that works for you
That’s exactly what Wildly Intentional is here to give you.

Episode 1: The Power of Being Unapologetically Yourself in Business
In this episode, we introduce ourselves and talk about how authenticity shapes brand visibility, client attraction and confidence.
We get a little tongue-tied about our Wild Words of Wisdom at the end, but that’s to be expected when you talk unscripted and without apologies.
My story…
Hi! I’m Flick, the founder of The Social Dragonfly and a marketing expert with years of experience in helping businesses make their story known on social media.
How it all started…
In 2018, while working as an administrator for a charity, I was given the opportunity to become their Digital Marketer. What I knew about digital marketing back then was less than zero. Sure, I knew how to create a post on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, but I hadn’t even heard of Canva in the beginning!
Thankfully, there were plenty of businesses that were offering digital marketing training back then, and I soon found myself with a Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing! Wooo!
I started to create content for the company social media accounts, updated their website, send out email marketing messages every week and write blogs.
I quickly learned that I loved the blogs and social media marketing aspects, but didn’t really enjoy the other bits.
Headhunted …
I was headhunted by a multi-award-winning social media agency based on my work for the charity, and I worked for them for a number of years before the business, sadly, closed its doors, and I was presented with a new problem – unemployment.
An idea…
An idea came to me that maybe I could start up my own business… and in September 2022, I launched The Social Dragonfly!
I had one burning idea in my head for what I wanted to do with my business, but it was so big and so huge that I knew I had to start somewhere. I wanted to rid social media of negativity and pessimism.
Social Media is FUN…
For me, social media is fun. It’s exciting. It’s a chance to network online with some truly fabulous and amazing people. It’s not a place for judgement, malice or spiteful comments.
That’s what I do. I spread joy and excitement through storytelling content that helps target markets connect with you emotionally (and financially). But that sounds a little word-y and not very snazzy.
Teaching & Coaching…
I always wanted to offer teaching and coaching as a core part of what I do within The Social Dragonfly, because I would not be where I am today without the training, teaching, coaching and mentoring I received along the way. I’m all about helping others and inspiring them to be the best that they can be.
Event Speaker…
Recently, I have been asked to speak at events, and I love standing on a stage and watching as the spark of inspiration comes to those I’m talking to. It most likely stems back to my theatre training and watching as a crowd became emotionally invested in the characters I played.
I Love a Good Story…
Through it all, my love of a good story has always been at the heart of what I do in life. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always read fictional storybooks, and I still do it even as an adult. Stories are what separate us from the animal kingdom. They’re what sets us apart.
